It has been a long time coming, but I am happy to announce that my site has finally been redesigned! At the moment, just the main portion of my site is done. The blog will be up next for taking on the same design.

Of course, with any new design, there are plenty of bugs to be worked out. I didn’t do as much testing as I should have, simply because I was excited to get the old design out of sight. The previous version wasn’t really wasn’t much of a design. I put up the information quickly with every intention to put together a nicely designed site. Unfortunately, other projects started popping up, and before I knew it, a year had gone by with nothing done to the site.

The new site isn’t complete yet either. I have quite a few new features and tweaks planned for the near future, so expect to see changes happening almost daily. With the new design, I also plan to start adding regular posts to the blog. These will range from tech tips to rants.

I am curious what everyone has to say about the new look. Send any comments, good, bad or ugly, to my email, or in the comments below.

Since some people seem to stumble here first instead of my site’s home page I thought a short description was in order.

This is my blog page. Sadly, I pretty much neglect this side of my site. I have ideas of grandeur for it, but something always seems more interesting at the time. Please continue to check back, or subscribe to the RSS though, because one of these days I am really going to roll up my sleeves and get this beast running!

If you are using Word, Excel or any of the rest of the suite, you have probably noticed that it starts up rather slowly, usually hanging up around the “optimizing fonts” step. To aleviate this, open Word, go to the preferences, under the general preferences, turn off WYSIWIG font menus. This preference will populate the entire suite, saving even more time!
