Well the new site design is up. The problem with this is that it isn’t actually complete yet. I wouldn’t have normally released something that isn’t complete yet, however, I am expecting some important traffic, and leaving the coming soon page up just wasn’t going to do.

So, while the site is currently live, please be aware that it isn’t really done yet. If you run into any issues, errors or oddities, please forgive me. If you like, you could even let me know in the comments of this post, I would really appreciate it! Also, if the site does indeed go dark again, please rest assured that it will return as soon as possible.

First I would like to say hello to all of the new visitors to this site! I recently submitted this site to some of the design galleries out on the interwebs, and because of that, I am getting a bunch of new traffic. So to all of you that are new, thank you for stopping by.

With this in mind, let me apologize for the lack of updates. I have been slacking off recently (not really, just busy with other work) but I have some new posts in mind to write in the near future. I don’t want to give too much away, but I have a couple web development posts coming, as well as a visual guide on how to make a sweet light box for under $10.00. I hope you enjoy the content that is already here, and I promise to get on a better schedule for posting new things!

Well I finally took a few minutes to update my own site. I added a couple of items to the web design, and fixed the broken link there. There will be even more added in the near future, but I have to find the time from working on other projects to get to it. When I do though, look for a brand new experience here, hopefully by the end of the year. Also, if you would like to see the beginnings of one of my other projects, check out brokenspokestudios.com which is going to be a new television channel when I get some content recorded. Unfortunately, I don’t have much more than that to say.

I will be showing a new series of photo-illustrations at a gallery showing at the Astereisk Gallery in Tremont on November 7th and 8th. The show titled, “Born and Bred”, will include myself and multiple other artists from the Cleveland Area and will encompass a multitude of different styles.

Most of the work that I will have on display will be completely new, and never before seen. The working title is currently “Up In Smoke” but will most likely change by the time of the show. I don’t want to give too many details yet, so watch my site for more information, or just show up!

Some of you may or may not know that I am currently working on getting an internet television station off the ground. I will be filming one of the very first shows this Sunday during a mountain bike race at Vulture’s Knob in Wooster Ohio. Vulture’s Knob is one of the most technically challenging ten miles of sweet, sweet single track in the area. This weekend’s race will be the largest of the year there, and if you are into the mtb thing, I would suggest you stop by and check it out. The main race is at 1pm and you can get more information you can check out the Ohio Mountain Bike Championship Series Site. If you do happen to show up and you see me, say hello!

Now if you don’t know about my new project, let me give you a teaser: There is going to be a variety of shows in both video and audio formats. We currently have about 5 planned to begin in the very near future, with one of them being primarily about mountain biking. I can’t give any more information away just yet, but keep checking for updates, I plan to have a post about this project ready soon!

Well, it took me all weekend to figure out, but I was finally able to style my blog like the rest of my site. There are still a few bugs to work out, so please be patient (I think the only ugly spot is the comments). Next update to the blog will be to upgrade to WordPress 2.5 and add some photos over in the sidebar.

Now that I have figured this out, I plan to create some free themes for anyone who wants them. Keep your eye out here in the near future for some fresh free themes.

Also coming in the near future is the re-introduction of Broken Spoke Studios, but that is another post…

Good Afternoon,

Just made another enhancement to my site. I now have blog posts on my home page. Currently I am just posting the top three, and unfortonately, they are missing permalinks, or more importantly, links to the comments section. I will be getting the comments and permalinks working as soon as I can. For now, if you would like to comment, you will have to go to my blog to do so.

I would also like to mention that being fairly new to writing PHP, I was having a tough time getting this to work. If it weren’t for a guy named Jamis, this probably would have taken a lot longer. If you are interested in how to do this on your own site, or would like to view some other coding goodness, check out his site!
